I was held captive page after page, Chapter after Chapter through the entire book.

Jane captured my heart and my 'detective' soul in this beautifully written novel.

I felt as if I was living in her country towns and wineries, that I knew all her families and the intricacies of their lives, on an intimate level.

The mysteries were brilliantly woven into a landscape of family, friendship, and love, reminding us all of what is truly important in life 💖

I love this author and once more she has truly amazed me with her brilliant writing skills. I loved this book and most of the characters. I am sad because I finished this too quickly and now it will be such a long wait for the next book. Thankyou Jane you’re fabulous.

The inclusion of the two mysteries keeps you hooked right to the end. I thoroughly enjoyed this, my first Jane Harper audiobook.

I have listened to all books in this series on Audible and loved them and Steve Shanahan's narration. Something is wrong with the audio on this one. You can hear Steve taking a breath throughout and the edits are not seamless in some sections. There are quite a few repeats in the audio too. Haven't come across this before with Audible?

I enjoyed this book from Jane Harper. The story kept me listening at every opportunity! It was great to have Aaron Faulk back.
There seemed to be some edits that were missed in the audiobook which tripped me up at times- please go back and finish the editing.
Highly recommend this book for an Australian thriller.

I have read all Jane Harper’s books and this one I rate as her best. I was kept guessing all the way through and loved the setting of the book in the fictional SA wine region.

Jane Harper and Steve Shanahan (the Voice of Aaron Falk) have delivered again. There is such an ease to Jane's writing and although she is noted for the way she brings different Australian landscapes to life, it's the empathy and warmth with which she portrays her characters, even when they are in dark situations, that really draws me in. Steve Shanahan's narration is level headed, never over the top and brings Jane's characters to life in this well produced audiobook.
