Aside from the main character being a vampire who kept her humanity & opened up to found family & a husband, it was a lovely story.
Until those last few chapters, where the author makes you cry and cry and cry. She makes you reflect upon your own life, family, love, and the precious time you may have left.
I finished it an hour ago and I am still crying.
