Publisher's Summary

Don't miss the epic conclusion to the Everlife novels, a series fans calls "vividly unique", "unforgettable", and "exhilarating". New from Gena Showalter, author of the New York Times best-selling The White Rabbit Chronicles, comes a series finale that will keep you on the edge of your seat rooting for the characters until the very end.

Stand together or fall alone.

The fate of the Everlife hangs in the balance.

At 17 years old, Tenley "Ten" Lockwood had to make the ultimate choice - where to live after she died. Loyalty to her selected realm has not wavered...until now. She is out of time. Sacrifices must be made, and a terrible price must be paid. But is she too late?

As the Everlife descends into darkness, a single truth becomes clear: Troika and Myriad must unite - or perish. In order to bring sworn enemies together, Ten must enter forbidden territory...and destroy the powerful Prince of Ravens. But there's only one way inside - bonding with Killian Flynn, a deadly rival who sets her blood aflame.

When nothing goes as planned and betrayal leads to the edge of utter defeat, Ten and Killian will have to rebuild trust from the ashes of their hearts. Victory seems impossible, the odds stacked against them. In the end, how far will they be willing to go for the sake of their realms and the Everlife?

Super annoying...

The author is obviously needing lots of filler because she has run out of story. Nothing but "underscore" over and over for most of the beginning of the book. Rediculously annoying and disappointing after having purchased the other books.

UNDERSCORE is said at least 50 times in 1st 20 min

I am returning this book because of the the way the each letter/character listed in the correspondences is read within the first 30 min. It is monotonous and unnecessary, not to mention that there is very little storyline between the numerous correspondence recepients' addresses repeated in the audio. It is such a shame because this series has been very interesting. Such a bad decision on production = I will read the actual novel! I have given the storyline 4 stars since the series up until now has warrented that rating and shouldn't suffer because of decisions by the audio production team.

Emails

I was really looking forward to listening to this book. However I'm in part 1 and I have to stop it because it is so annoying to listen to list of email addresses that have no real relevance to the actual story. as a matter of fact it is so annoying that I am returning this title and going to have to get a hard copy. It is very unfortunate because I have enjoyed the narration and the narrators so far.

Another trilogy that starts out awesome and tanks

The narrators and production were good but the story was predictable and very disappointing. When I started this trilogy I was hoping for something new and exciting. The entire second and third book felt extremely overworked and over dramatized. The meat of the story was stretched so thin over the pages. I also was disappointed by the change in religious undertones. I didn’t start these books to read about heaven and hell. I was hopeful the story would not take that turn, but they did. The first one was SO good, and then the second two fell very flat.

Sensational!

I like that the story has some elements of the Christian faith but also that it's a gripping story that had me on the edge of my seat. As a conclusion to an already binge-worthy series, I give this top rating.

An astonishing twist.

If youre looking at this review before realizing its the third book, i promise the end is worth the beginning. Ten was annoying at girst to me. she is head strong. good. unyeilding. great. but repetative. but considereing her parents did nothing nice to her, its not a wonder she relies so much on staying true to herself. through each book, she makes choices that are best of better.

There are many great chatacters. and yes they are loved. but none a built upon to the dame degree as Ten and Killian. (Maybe archer is too) and though i like the characters, i didnt cry inside when they died.

but Killian. oh Killian. he may start as the dumb bad-ass choice for ten. the typical go to, you may say. for a YA novel. but hes so much more than that. if this was a typical teenager story, Ten would have chosen to be with him above all else. but she didnt and they both have an amazing love story. her changes. how she strengthens him. and changes him. how he strengthens her in the end. their bond is intriguing and lovely.

the voice actor nails Killian spot on. i got so so excited when his chapters came. his voice melts me as it does Ten when he claims his love for her. her love changes his world. litterally. and he changes the world for her.

anyone who says hes a typical love interest only read the first book. hes amazing.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS TRILOGY!

Exquisite!

Rarely do I binge listen to an audiobook because I want to make them last longer. However this Christian allegory /romance novel/dystopian sci fi fantasy/ is a rare and precious find. The author manages to weave very deep spiritual truths into a narrative that is as entertaining as it is thought provoking. the narrators do a fantastic job of bringing this amazing work to life. It wouldn't have been the same without them.
