When we can't put a novel down or when we get chills at the end of a great movie, we feel hopeful that we can do the same for others, some day, by starting our own creative projects. But we often think of writing a book, teaching a course, or creating things in general as some mystical, esoteric process opaque to anyone without the gifts of genius or some kind of privilege. Nothing could be further from the truth.
If you are open to new experiences, willing to dedicate yourself to long-term projects, and happy to trust in an often gruelling process, then you have the tools to create great things that help others and fill you with pride. I am dedicated to helping people like yourself achieve success in their creative projects, through my books, my weekly emails, and, generally, through the work I do every day.
This audiobook is a collection of essays I wrote between 2018 and 2019 with this very goal in mind. Join me on a chronological journey through my favorite writings on storytelling, creativity, and human nature.
