Told with the flare and style of an addictive mini series, Fennell has a talent for bring a good yarn to life. A cool mini series steeped in glob trotting research and mystery - you never knew where you’d end up. An awesome listen.

Incredible

Makes you really question a lot of how the food industry is run. It has made me question what and how I go forward around nuts, olive oil, mozzarella, peanut butter etc. very scary what is allowed to happen in the world!!!

Eye opening to what goes on behind the scenes of innocent nuts

I loved this! I enjoy Marc humorous and frank disposition on what is actually a very real behind the scenes look of what goes into getting us some innocent nuts on our plates.
I didn’t want this to end and now that it has I’m thinking of indulging and listening to it again!
Meanwhile I have so much more gratitude to the almonds that go into my almond meal cakes. Thanks Marc for your thorough and enlightening investigation on a topic which I thought was one from on screen dramas. Can’t wait for your next investigation!

The tiger king of podcasts about nuts!

Stumbled across this one and so glad I did. If you like true crime you will love this. Marc is fantastic as a host and the production value is as good as anything I’ve listened to. Check it out!!!

Delightful story telling

Fennell is a great story teller. He takes an obscure crime story and uses it to intersect with a wide range of insights and observations. I need to now back track to listen to his earlier podcast.

Very interesting but.....

Was really enjoying this series until ep 3 when the background music became so intrusive that I abandoned the series.

Marc does it again

Once again Marc has produce not only a great story but an entertaining journey into a world I never knew existed.
Great series and the topic nut agriculture and theft is an unlikely but compelling piece of journalism.
Highly recommended.
