Tragic Story
Very brave if Tim to tell the story from the perspective of a survivor having lost so many loved ones and friends. I believe it could have gone further into the history of Jones and his loyalty tests and declining mental health to better explain how so many followed his instructions whether because of devotion or fear.

Excellent
Very interesting, glad i stumbled across this audio book. Short episode lengths, so suitable when short on time!

Only scratches the surface
This seems more like a podcast, with music and sound effects. Some people like that, others won’t. Also there is a catch-up intro at the start of each chapter.
It’s a mixture of book and audio interview of Tim Carter, one of the few survivors.
I watched a YT video and he wasn’t even mentioned so I don’t think he was a major person in People’s Temple.
Not bad if you want an introduction on the 1978 tragedy.

A confused but clearly political story
Jim Jones may have been mad, bad or just confused, but the people who followed him to their deaths were already victims of - or at least disenchanted with - a brutal society that sees human beings as mere cogs in the wheels of plunder and profit.

Less information than a very quick google search
The short every episode begins with the same boring intro which saps several minutes from each short episode.
Very little information was provided and the overall ‘story’ was very underwhelming. Even with a ‘survivor’ very little detail was on offer.
Not the worst but a long long way from good.
