Sweet

This is a sweet addition to the series. I would probably place it before Endure though. It was nice to get a glimpse of something that wasn't part of the series. narration was done well.

Horrible

This was the worst thing ever. The lead female character was weak and simple. The lead male character was creepy and controlling. This had potential relationship abuse wrote all over it.

Dane & Laney

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Audible Plus review. Dual POV.  Book 5 (but really book 8; novella) of 12 in the Evolve/Full Circle series. Both narrators do a good job. IMO the audiobook is over priced at 3.99 USD for 55 minutes (I listened at speed 1.50) of the way to condensed story of their life leading up to their wedding. The phrase "my baby" was over used. No trigger warnings.

Michael Dane Kendrick (aka Dane/Caveman) takes Laney Jo Walker (aka Disney/Gidget/Slugger) to Emerald Isle to propose for the 16th time and she finally says yes. Laney held off accepting his proposal before because she wanted to graduate and accomplish her career goals first. She graduated and is now coaching the softball team at the college where she played softball. Dane gives her a week to choose a date to marry him and on the 9th day he sends Whitley to help her when she still hasn't made a decision. Laney's maid of honor is Bennett (aka Ben). Laney's bride's maids are Whitley, Emmett (aka Emmy), Hayden (Parker's wife), and Samantha (Andy's wife). Dane's best man is Tate (aka Tater Bear; his older half-brother). Dane's groomsman are Evan, Sawyer Landon Bennett, Zach, and Andy (his long time friend that was disabled during a sky diving accident). They all get together to discuss the bachel/bachelorette parties. Jefferson (aka Jeff; Laney's dad) and Trish (Laney's mom) are now best friends and Dane had helped secure better health care to treat Trish. Before the wedding ceremony they present her with her Disney necklace from Dane as her something old, diamond earrings from her parents as her something new, a diamond hairpin from Whitley as her something borrowed, and a stick figure picture of Sawyer with blue balls colored with a crayon from Sawyer as her something blue. Sawyer and Emmett are married and while Presley (their daughter) is at the wedding she wasn't part of it. Dane shows up at the bride room door to find out how much longer. Dane gets into position and reflects on the day they met as Laney walks to him. Dane read the "Disney" vows he wrote for her. Dane is ready to get down to business but Laney makes him wait refusing a quickie on their wedding day. Their reception goes smoothly, they go back to their room where Dane impatiently waits for Laney to take her wedding dress off afraid he'll rip it, and Dane surprises her with the news that they're going to Disneyland Paris for their Honeymoon.

There was no real update on the other couples. JP

a beautiful story

I have all of the books in this series. I read a lot. at least 5-7 full length books a week and this is only the 2nd review of this magnitude that I've left. wow, I dont really know how to describe this series. a beautiful story full of love and heartbreak and friendship and family. a magnificent reminder that sometimes family is chosen and blood doesn't always bond you. I laughed so hard and at other times cried rivers. im going to start now purchasing entire sets as Christmas gifts. id love for this journey to continue in another book but even if it doesn't this was such a beautiful journey. I'd have liked a little more of Laney and evan making amends and regaining their friendship and possibly even admitting they love each other just not as strongly as their life partners, simply because of the years they invested in one another, the pure-ness of their relationship, the undeniable love, and the devastating heartbreak that followed. other than that, loved it. and freaking sawyer is hilarious!

I love this story and how we get to visit with this wonderful crew as they celebrate love in the most Crew like way! The narrators did an excellent job bringing to life our beloved characters! It is short ,sweet and hot!
