And now a new danger had arisen to threaten the peace of Ehlana's realm. The trouble had started quietly. At home, bandits began to plague the hill country. In neighboring Lamorkand, the customary political unrest turned ominous with whispers that the bloody heroes of old soon would rise again.

Good coming of age book
David Eddings has a relaxed positive style of writing that is easy to follow and enjoy. David was one of the earlier pioneers who helped develop the fantasy genre. The Belgariad is an enjoyable romp through an imaginary world.

What did you like best about this story?
This is a solid finish to a great series, it is not a heavy read/listen, but it does cover a well written coming of age story. I listened to this after enjoying the book as a teenager and it was like returning to long lost friends.

When I first read this series at 13yrs old, I couldn't bare to read the last book, as I could not bring myself to say good bye to the friends I had made here in. That is how good this is... Then my step farther informed me of the existence of a second series and several other spinoffs. This is my forth time now catching up with my ' friends '...

My Favorite Fantasy Series
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would absolutely recommend this entire series to a friend. I have actually done so. It is a perfect set for audio.
What did you like best about this story?
The best thing about The Belgariad is that it is the perfect combination of marvelous stories and great story telling.
Have you listened to any of Cameron Beierle’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I own everything that the Eddings have written and Cameron Beierlie fits the voice that I have always imagined telling the stories. These are the first that I have heard him narrate but I will be looking for more from him.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
A Sword and Sorcery adventure for the ages.
Any additional comments?
I waited until I had heard the entire series The Belgariad and The Malorrean before doing a review. I must say that, having read them in print, the audio versions are just as much fun and entirely engrossing. Very Well Done.

the finale
Mon Dieu! This book was soooo intense. The great escape from the women, of which I just about died laughing.
The final battle against Kal Torak and his sad demise.
There's still the Mallorean because the prophecy isn't quite finished.
oh boy.
I kind of think Belgarion would of rather fight Torak again and again than deal with the stress of getting married lolz.
I'm also kind of sad. The gang is broken up now and almost everyone is happy except Belgareth, Manndoralen and Silk.

Enchanter's End Game by David Eddings
Garion is nearing the end of his quest. Travelling with Mr Wolf and Silk to meet their desperate end, little does he know that his Fiance is leading the armies of the west, in hopes of distracting his enemies, in the hopes that it will help Garion get through. I adore fantasy and David Eddings is one of my favourite writers. This is the ending of a fantastic epic. Will Cenedra and the others escape after being kidnapped? Will Garion ever see them again? Will the evil god Torak survive? read the book and find out.

Would you listen to Enchanters' End Game again? Why?
I loved these books as a kid and after reading the reviews, I was hesitant to listen to them. However, I now love the narrator. He really brings the characters alive for me and I can tell who is talking, just from the character voice most of the time. I was unsure about him during the first book but I am so happy I stuck with them. Brilliant.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I found it really touching at times. Listening to these books has really enriched my experience of them.

David Eddings will always be top marks.
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend it purely on the book. The narrator is awful.
Every character has some stupid put-on accent and with this, sometimes the words are unintelligible.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Enchanters' End Game?
Not relevant. I'm not going to give spoilers.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The Narrator was Terrible.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, off my seat, having to rewind it to listen again due to the narrators ridiculous accents. I'm Scottish. I have a broad accent, but everyone sounds like they're a mix of an indian Australian American man. Even the women sound like men - which is to be expected.
Any additional comments?
I can't say it enough, about how terrible this narrator was, and how its ruined such a great great book and story in an odd sort of way.
