Four and a half years have passed since the Battle of the Empress's Last Stand, the battle that sealed the fate of the East and ended Empress Natasia's reign. The War in the East is finally over, but it didn't end the way the Empire anticipated.

Thank you for giving us the lady love romance novel written for actual women and not for men. Beautiful high fantasy love story and a beautiful conclusion to the series.

While the journey was long and the newer characters felt frustrating at times, i found myself invested! Listening while commuting, and sometimes even the gym when the action escalated, i easily got lost in this world/the character’s perspectives.

I loved this series and can’t wait for it to gain the popularity it deserves. I started this series look for some wlw romance set in a fantasy world. Instead I was immersed into an empire and an incredible plot. The world building, characters and story in this book are some of the best I’ve ever read. If your looking for a light fantasy book with some smut I’m afraid this is not the book for you. However if you wish to engage with diverse and complex characters and enter a world that is so well written it feels real then I promise this series will not disappoint. I loved this series so very much and felt grief when I reached its end.

I absolutely love this book. the characters have so much depth and background, and I could easily picture them in my mind. Each character was beautiful in their own right. I fell in love with their flaws, their progression, and their originality.
Every step through this epic adventure had me holding on and never wanting to let go. I loved how we moved through the story effortlessly. Time changes be damned.
