Very well done

This is a very informative and a must listen for anyone who thinks they may be in a controlling relationship. It is well presented with tools to identify if you are in an unhealthy relationship. The narrator did a great job of presenting the material. I was given a free copy of this audio in return for an unbiased review.

Need to know info!!!!

This is critical for everyone to be aware of. Abusers can slowly and carefully manipulate you so that you don't even realize what is going on and eventually you are in a very unhealthy relationship. This can span from work, family, love interests, friends etc. Its scary because at first it can look like they are caring about you and before you know it your self esteem is so low and dependant on them and others. The quizzes here are great way to recognize situations you may be vulnerable in now or you can use for awareness in the future. thank you for putting this out there, no one deserves to be treated poorly.

Emotional Abuse Recovery

I personally, did not find a lot of new advice in this book, but,I have read more than just this book on the subject .For someone just looking for introductory information, on many types of abuse, it would be good. Ginger White was very good narrator. I was given this book by the narrator, author or publisher free for an honest review.

Very insightful

I found this to be an insightful look into things we don’t normally see within relationships we have. Our interactions and the toxicity there is something this book holds a mirror up to. Very good.

Content not what it says on the book

This book is not about helping one recover from abusive relationships. It is more about definitions of things like “what is face to face communication” and what is good communication. It it no way relates to dealing with difficult people so if you are a victim of abuse this is not for you. The book is also very high level and very entry level.
