Huyendo de los tragaldabas y otras tribus del África, el pirata Garrapata y su tripulación llegan hasta el río Nilo y allí descubren que los grandes sacerdotes del faraón, convencidos de que la hermosa Floripondia es la reencarnación de la diosa Isis, la han secuestrado. Garrapata tiene que pasar por mil avatares antes de conseguir rescatar a la dama. Pero el faraón los sigue para recuperar a la que cree que es Isis. Pero en Abu Simbel, la moda de Floripondia ha causado furor y, ahora, todas las mujeres van vestidas como ella. El faraón no sabe cuál es Floripondia. Mientras, el pirata y sus secuaces aprovechan para escapar, pero no se irán de allí hasta no recuperar a Floripondia. Pero eso será en otra aventura.
