El gran experimento del Dr. Keintplantz un relato algo cómico donde el experimento del Dr. consistía en demostrar que el espíritu salía del cuerpo, y en una demostración ante la comunidad científica, que le rodeaba intercambió por accidente su espíritu con el del novio de su hija, joven dado al alcohol y el baile, y él, un anciano dedicado sólo al estudio y catedrático de la universidad. Es divertido seguir el desarrollo del relato cuando el Dr. Keintplantz llega a su casa con el cuerpo del novio de su hija, pero no lo sabe y el joven se va a divertir con el cuerpo del Doctor sin saberlo tampoco y se emborracha en el bar.
