Eines Tages sitzt Tobias gerade in seinem Zimmer, da braust mit Karacho und Getöse etwas sehr Großes und sehr Rosarotes durch sein Fenster herein. Ein Papagei!, denkt Tobias begeistert. Aber nein: Das rosarote Ding entpuppt sich als gute Fee, die ihm einen Wunsch erfüllen möchte. Klar, dass Tobias einen Papagei hergezaubert haben will.
Nur leider ist die Fee nicht so gut im Zaubern. Sie verwandelt Tobias gleich selbst in so einen buten Vogel - und setzt damit ein unglaubliches Abenteuer in Gang. Tobias landet in einem Käfig in der Vogelhandlung des bösen Reddersen. Und wie er da wieder herauskommt und nebenbei auch noch stinkreich wird, das ist wirklich feenmäßig gut!
