Eddie tillbringar sommaren med sin faster Soffan vid havet i Lysekil. Men först måste han ta bussen till henne ensam. I själva verket skulle han hellre ha stannat hemma och lekt vid sin lilla bäck, för i havet finns stora maneter, som han fasar för mer än för hajar eller ubåtar.
