Not a very good Reacher

The plot was very disjointed ... Some of Reacher’s “conclusions” were too far fetched
Couldn’t wait to finish it

so so

I struggled to stay interested except the last three or four chapters. no way you can try to figure out the plot until it unfolds which makes it less of a thriller mystery and more a description of unusual events. The narrator's female voices I found hard to listen to. overall it was ok. will I go to no.6? not sure.

Slow start creates disinterest.

The first 6-8 chapters were really boring. I now have that opinion of Texas. I have to say I really thought about giving up on this book a few times but a completion urge stoppers me.
Overall definitely not one of the best Reacher stories. Teachers faith in Carmen was stretched beyond logic and the interplay of Mexican massacres seemed like an afterthought.
Sorry Lee, but not your best work.

Reacher the Clairvoyant

Not one of his best stories. The plot itself is ok, but drags out waaay too long in parts, as though it’s just passing time. Unfortunately some of Reacher’s mystery-busting instincts are just too far fetched to be credible, and he probably should be wearing a Gypsy scarf and using a crystal ball. In saying that, despite the poor parts, Reacher is still the best fiction around today.

Solid Reacher

After a disappointing 4th chapter this was back to classic Reacher.

If you enjoyed volumes 1-3 you'll be happy with this release.

Hard to get into

Love Jack Reacher but this book was hard to stay interested in, Alot of Reachers decisions did not seem logicial more like clairvoyance. Not sure why Carmen was worth so much effort to Reacher. Jeff Harding is the narrator. Up to this point he has been an amazing narrator but in this book he sounds completely different to the past 4 books, his performance is not good and is very inconsistent. I hope his performance is better in the next book.

Great listen

I really liked this storyline. I thought I knew what was happening, but of course, being a Jack Reacher novel, there had to be plot twists.
10/10 in my opinion.
