About this listen

The ruin of obsession, the madness of love, and the peril of duty.

Remington Maddox broke my heart.

Simon Perilini bruised my body.

And Pretty Nick Bruin tried his hardest to steal my soul.

As we struggle to make amends, the four of us must face the real fights occurring in Forsyth: the battle against the legacies of our fathers, the conflict for a kingdom that's stronger than its king, and the wars we wage within ourselves.

My dukes have become capable warriors, but Forsyth needs more than their fists. They need a leader. Who will rise to the challenge?

They plucked me from captivity, giving me a home and purpose, and now it's my turn to fight for them. The fury of Forsyth will burn hot enough to melt my cage.

And my dukes will forge a crown from it.

Dukes of Peril is book six in the contemporary dark-romance Royals of Forsyth U series by best-selling authors Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue.

Dukes of depth and substance.

The Dukes trilogy is the best of the three to be released so far. The relationship and character development and arcs are so superbly satisfying they’re impossible to resist becoming invested in. Nick’s narcissism, Sy’s misogyny and Remi’s instability make their characters so fundamentally flawed and human that redemption seems beyond plausible. Add this to Lavinia’s inability to trust and indoctrinated inadequacies and their relationships appear doomed.

However, leave it to Angel and Samantha to invent the situations and events that can turn it all around and make them bond into a beautiful symbiotic unit for not just each other but potentially for the whole of Forsyth.

On a side note Lavinia (AKA Little Bird, LB, Vinnie, Lav, etc.) is my favourite of the female royals. She is so tough, resilient, intelligent balanced with compassion, kindness, genuine and simply real. She is very relatable. My favourite of the male royals is God forbid Nick. His devotion never wavered even when he did the most deplorable things to her he did them out of a misguided sense of devotion, Ok there was also a splash or more of spite in there as well.

Love these books.
