There’s a saying...

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and Connor is going from strength to strength!

He’s finally got his borders secure by taking Portsmouth. Not only that, but he’s conquered the adjacent land of Certaindeath and defeated Lord Zerg Zerg to take Zergatory. Things are looking up for our favorite warlord, and he’s rightly pleased with himself.

But there’s another saying...

Pride comes before the fall.

Join Connor, Edward, Ellen, Yosaku and the gang as they battle their way toward world domination!

Remember! There can be only one!

This is a LitRPG-Civ building fantasy tale that includes progression stats and settlement stats.

For lovers of 4X MMORPG civilization building games who enjoy a tale woven in the lands they spend far too much time in!

Another great volume in this epic adventure

Ember has done another wonderful job with this enjoyable series. The progress is always rolling forward and pulling the audience along with it. A little predictable and/or cringe-worthy in places (not many), but the intricate plots and characters keep me wanting more. I can't wait for the next installment.

Once again the narrator. and the audiobook director have let the process down a little. There are a few paragraphs of the story that repeat themselves, showing bad editing/proofing. Although Pavi narrates the story excellently, his pronunciation of certain words lets him, and the book, down. Please look up in a dictionary how to pronounce words properly if you are unsure. Wyvern is a classic example. The correct pronunciation is NOT wi'vern, it is wai'vern. Gunwale is pronounced gun'all an NOT gun'whale.

If you haven't started reading/listening to this series, I STRONGLY recommend you do.

First two books were good. This one wasn’t.

I loved the first two books. Truely a joy to read/listen too.
This one was frankly, garbage.

A mystical item that circumvents the whole plot? Sure. Dumb heros that never learn? Yep. Random additions that make no sense. Why not?

I got to the start of the second part. But just couldn’t continue.

I’ll be asking for my money back.
