Only a couple more too the end…starting to feel like the story is rapping up but also ramping up. So many reveals so many questions and so much enjoyment. Excellent work

So many deep reveals

Okay, so it's book 7 and the bad guys are attacking their masquerade which leads me to ask certain question.
Why, when Zack was inducted into the supernatural, didn't he get a crash course in identiy fraud and creative accounting?
Especially with the flood of extra planar beings essentially being undocumented illegal aliens.
The authorities going after their money should have been an up hill battle for the Feds and IRS since wiser beings should have procedures in place.
Why has Zack still not worked on his magic and mental fortitude? So many issues could be avoided or resolved smoothly and cleaner if he tried to handle his problems smarter instead of fight harder.
Why does he keep forgetting obvious things he's been told or seen before?
Why does he forget the Goldie is always with him? Especially when he was bitching about being in solitary, she's right there! You're already talking to yourself and they think you're an evil crazy monster!
Also, he's already failing as a "parent" since he created Goldie, yet constantly neglects her and all aspects of her education.

Phew! Anyway, I still enjoyed the book. It's fun pulp fantasy smut, just try not to think too hard when consuming it.
