The brilliant new thriller from the international best-selling author of Home and Fool Me Once. Mistaken identities, dark family secrets and a murderous conspiracy lie at the heart of this gripping new best-seller.

A small town is hiding big secrets....

Fifteen years ago in New Jersey, a teenage boy and girl were found dead. Most people concluded it was a tragic suicide pact. The dead boy's brother, Nap Dumas, did not. Now Nap is a cop - but he's a cop who plays by his own rules, and who has never made peace with his past.

And when the past comes back to haunt him, Nap discovers secrets can kill....

Critic Reviews

"The modern master of the hook and plot twist, luring you in on the first page only to shock you on the last." (Dan Brown)
"Harlan Coben is a folk poet of the suburbs and his well-tuned new mystery, Don't Let Go shows why... this kind of writing is what we call poetry." ( New York Times)

I picked the bad guy from the start which is a shame. It’s better when I think I’ve picked the bad guy and it turns out I’m wrong.
I loved how Augie sounded like Clint Eastwood.
Good story but not as great as other Harlem Coben titles I’ve listened to.

Loved it.

To me it seems that the story was unfinished, too many questions unanswered . Is there a follow up book?

The end

I found this very hard to get into purely because of the voiced characters; in particular the women, who all sounded airy and a bit stupid. Even single words were elongated to add unnecessary stress. But once I got past the voice performance, which took me half a book to stop cringing, I settled into Coban’s smart patter and waited for the usual twist. So I eventually enjoyed it. But it wasn’t easy!

Formulaic pageturner
