Who am I?

I'm not entirely sure if I liked or disliked this book. I had really high expectations based on the blurb and having read the Cat and Mouse duet. I thought it was going to be more of a thriller but the so called plot twist fell flat with me. This was touted as enemies to lovers but I really didn't feel the chemistry 😕 Performance was top notch especially the male narrator

The performance was great, very listenable. The beginning was quite slow, took a while for the story to go anywhere but once it did, it was great. thoroughly enjoyed the character development.

I never thought I'd say that a book has too much spice... but here I am! The story line was forgotten I feel, and it was just S scene after S scene. But not even H.A hot...
.. more slightly vanilla. Only got good towards the very end.

This one was one of the recommendations to me for 2023 it’s 2024 and I’ve finally got around to it because book club wanted to read something with a question on the title. I was expecting a little more from the storyline.
I didn’t really think it was overly seamless. 3 star listen. The narration was done well but the storyline is so so. It’s a bit spicy which I enjoyed but yeah I think the storyline was a little bit of a let down.

Definitely a H.D Carlton Fan! Love her writing/storytelling and this audiobook was amazing! I absolutely loved it! Troy Duran is now on my list of favs and Michelle I have loved since my very first audiobook Haunting & Hunting Adeline. The spice is always on point with H.D
