I love H D Carlton and this book is no different. Her type of spice is totally up my alley.
Definitely a dark romance (breath play, non-con) and she manages to make both FMC and MMC Likeable and funny.
Troy Duran's voice is the deepest most incredible listen.

There are obvious triggers for some readers in this story but i loved the storyline and the narration was great.

there was just something missing in this story for me. not enough tension or strength to the story. I like spice but prefer if certain things were more believable than just completely unrealistic

Engaging from the start. The characters are likeable and the intimacy scenes interesting. The story is very engaging and you never know what’s going to happen next.

Took me a while to get use to Troy doing different accents. But the over all story was great. Enjoyed it and happy the ending. Would definitely recommend it if you like a but if suspense in the story.

I'm not entirely sure if I liked or disliked this book. I had really high expectations based on the blurb and having read the Cat and Mouse duet. I thought it was going to be more of a thriller but the so called plot twist fell flat with me. This was touted as enemies to lovers but I really didn't feel the chemistry 😕 Performance was top notch especially the male narrator

Definitely a H.D Carlton Fan! Love her writing/storytelling and this audiobook was amazing! I absolutely loved it! Troy Duran is now on my list of favs and Michelle I have loved since my very first audiobook Haunting & Hunting Adeline. The spice is always on point with H.D
