Publisher's Summary

Sven is a man who takes pride in his ability to separate himself from his emotions. He's a man who knows who he is and where he's going in life, a man who needs no one, because needing someone - anyone - is a weakness.

Maggie wants the happily ever after but has never picked the right men or stuck around long enough to build a forever. It's always been easier to get out early, before emotions make things messy.

When Maggie wakes up naked in Sven's bed, with no memory of the night before, these two must be honest about their feelings and face their fears, so they can build a future together. Will love be enough for them to get their happy ending together, or will a threat from outside strike them down before they ever have a chance?

All over the place

Started out as a nightclub romance and ended as a crime romance, with no hint whatsoever that there was any crime storyline in the male character's story arc. It was just dropped in all of a sudden. I think Sebastian York was hired to sell the book, then he wasn't used enough. He is the only reason I bought this book in the first place. Female reader was just okay. I did like Maggie, the plus-size model female lead, and admired her relationship to her sister and the tension with her overly free-spirited parents. Not inspired to buy more from the author.

5 Distraction Stars

Ah ha! I lovvvved this book Sven is everything I hoped he would be. We met him in the last book and I was intrigued to say the least about his relationship with Maggie.

I am so glad this was his book. I loved the connecting they have the feelings they both have but that they fight.

There was one part I felt had a chunk of the story missing but once I got past that, I felt like the book was perfect. The tension and the suspense were great. Though I kind of feel like some of the mystery gets too much of a quick fix. But overall I loved this book. It was the best of the series for me.

I did like that we get all the other characters from the past books in this one. I felt like it brought the books together.

The narration was FANTASTIC! SebYo and Lidia do a fab job with this series. Loved their voices’ their tones, I just enjoy them as narrators.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Not enough Sebastian.

I enjoyed the book but would have liked to have more of it read by Sebastian York. The violence toward the end of the book was unexpected and not appreciated.

Great series.

I didn’t get anything done reading the story, it’s very seldom that I read a book in one day. The minute I started Distraction I was hooked, I couldn’t put the book down. The story is fabulous, the characters are lovable, funny and so loyal to each other. I love the series

She sounds .... wet

And I don't really mean that in a good way. Lidia Dornet's microphone was much too sensitive in all this series, so you can hear clearly hear her take breaths, when her mouth opens, and when she clearly has too much saliva in her mouth, making it sound just wet. It was VERY distracting and not pleasing at all. Sebastian York - sure, his voice is great, but honestly, to me, he's sounding like an older man, as opposed to you know, a 28 yr old man. As far as the book / story goes, it's ARR, so you know, meh. I did break up with this author about 2 yrs ago, when I realized her books were not that exciting to me anymore. I just listened to this simply because it was on AE and it was for background noise to be honest.

Maggie and Sven

I loved the third installment of the Underground Kings series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. Maggie is the older sister I wish I had. She's protective, smart, independent, loving, loyal. Going into Sven's club is all about righting the wrong done to her sister Morgan. She has no interest in a relationship or the hot club owner who constantly interferes with her quest to find the jerk drugging unsuspecting women. Sven is hot and emotionally detached. A childhood memory keeps him from allowing women in. He's fascinated by the woman who returns to his bar night after night. When she places herself in a potentially dangerous position he interjects himself into the drama and Maggie's life.

OH MY… I freaking loved it!

It is no secret that I’m a huge fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds. There is no words that could explain how much I love this author, her writing style, her refreshing straight up romance, her memorable and loving characters and her strong alpha men who make your insides quake. To say that I was highly anticipating the 3rd installment of the Underground Kings series would be an understatement and it was so worth the wait! Maggie and Sven meet at his club in Las Vegas under a special circumstance. She wants justice for her sister who was drugged and beat up after going to his club. She’s a spitfire and turns Sven’s world upside down. Quickly these two develop strong feelings for one another but a threat from outside strikes and they have to face a dangerous situation with the help of a few old friends. Maggie is incredible. She is a strong willed woman, full of sass and humour. “I’m not a thing. I’m a human, and I’m not yours.” ...“I’m not jumping with you. Take Dumb, Dumber, or Dumbest,” I say with a nod to the three blondes, who are each looking confused as the instructors attempt to help them get into their gear. “Is that jealousy I hear in your tone, Maggie?” “No, I just don’t want to be close to you.” “If I recall correctly, you used to like being close to me,” he says quietly enough for just me to hear. “I also used to like strawberries until I found out they were the cause for the hives I kept getting,” I mutter, and he chuckles. “You always did make me laugh,” he says softly." Ohhhhh Sven. I want one in my life *wink*. He’s a fine specimen of a complete alpha, possessive, and intense. He and Maggie are just so good together. The attraction and connection that forms between these characters is amazing. The pace and build up is delivered perfectly that allows us readers to experience it right along with the characters. It was also great to catch up with Kenton, Autumn, Kai, Myla and Justin from the first two books in the UK Series and Asher from the Until Series. I'm looking forward to Justin and Aubrey's story next in Infatuation.
