Performance was great Alyssa dose amazing job with so many voices on her own. Now book wise, story felt rushed not as much world building or even character exploration as the first one was and at one point I was close to putting the book down if the main MC was going to be held back from growing by his partners for keeping him safe crap. Luckily that didn't happen. Again rushed or it felt like it from build up of action scenes to problem after problem with little breather. Main issue I have with this audio tho is last 40 mins is dedicated to someone else's book advertising their work. Don't need it was audible automatically playing clips of other books at the end but to loose 40 mins to another book in a already short audio rushed book. annoyed. hopefully next book which I will get is longer and enjoy the slice of life aspect a bit more and world building.
