Publisher's Summary

From the New York Times best-selling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player, Book Two of the brand-new Wild Seasons series that started with Sweet Filthy Boy - a story of friends, love, and lust.

Despite their rowdy hookups, Harlow and Finn don’t even like each other... which would explain why their marriage lasted only 12 hours. He needs to be in charge and takes whatever he wants. She lives by the Want-something-done? Do-it-yourself mantra. Maybe she’s too similar to the rugged fisherman - or just what he needs.

Read by Sebastian York and includes a bonus scene only available on audio!

Dirty Sexy Finn

I don’t know how they do it but Christina and Lauren know how to bring on the sexy. This was another great addition to the Wild Seasons series. Finn was one deliciously dirty, sexy boy! This book had all the great banter and humor that is typical in all CL books. Not to mention all the steam too…..

Another 5 star listen!

I LIKE IT DIRTY!!

Dirty, rowdy, & deliciously awesome, Christina Lauren did a bang up job in the second release of this series. Sweet Filthy Boy (book 1) was merely the warm-up for this one! Something about these stories and characters that makes me want to know them and befriend and/or bed them---seriously, all these twenty- to thirty-something's are SMOKING HOT, and totally endearing.

I loved that I laughed throughout almost every chapter, and am immediately going to listen again because it was just that good. I can't wait for more from this dynamic writing duo! They know how to craft a smart and sexy novel with interesting characters that you'd absolutely need to know more about. I highly recommend this series and give it 5 fantastic stars!

My new favorite Authors and Narrators

DRT is a continuation of the story of 6 friends who meet in Las Vegas and spontaneously get married. While the couple in the first book decide to give marriage that fighting chance this book follows the two most unlikely couple to stay together. Finn and Harlow live in two different countries and have their own personal issues that should completely spin their world out of control however, find comfort in the knowledge that a few restless hours lost in each other can dull the pain of real life. Finn opens up about his family and business issues that could either make or break his and his family's livelyhood but Harlow who is a problem solver for others fails to share her personal issues with Finn.

I love the complexity of the characters and how their problems are realistic and engaging for the reader. The sex scenes (which all Christina Lauren books are known for) are racy but very intense and intimate. They never come across as raunchy or misplaced just to make the book erotic. It is sensual and personal. I will always be a fan of these two authors.

The narration is fantastic. Sebastian York is dreamy with that voice and Shayna Thibodeaux is quirky and quick paced with her words but she rocks the narration. DRT was my favorite so far. Looking forward to the next story which you get a little preview in this book.

One of my favorites!

Would you listen to Dirty Rowdy Thing again? Why?

Already have :) If you listened to it, you don't need to ask why.

What did you like best about this story?

Character development, narrators are great!

Have you listened to any of Sebastian York and Shayna Thibodeaux ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have! This is my 3rd favorite, but I have high standards!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did (as much as possible)

Any additional comments?

Christina Lauren - amazing writers - perfect casting to narrate. If you haven't experienced the Beautiful Bastard series, go there, NOW! Each book gets better and better!!

I loved the story.

Would you consider the audio edition of Dirty Rowdy Thing to be better than the print version?

I would consider the book better than the audio only because I don't care for the female narrator.

What did you like best about this story?

The story was funny, sad and fast moving. 3 things I love in a book.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Sebastian York is wonderful as a narrator. Shayna Thibodeaux I just can't warm up to her. This is the second book I have with her narrating. Once I knew she was going to read it I really had think about getting the audio.

Any additional comments?

I love Christina Lauren Books. I just wish they would get another female narrator. The Beautiful Series I listen to over and over again. This series once is enough only because I don't like the why Shayna Thibodeaux narrates.

Great, UNTIL....

Beginning was amazing!

Middle was amazing!

Close to the end... Finn became a Dick head!
if someone that was "in love with me" treated me that way, and talked to me that way, I would NOT go after him! I was SO annoyed! he became a total jerk!!

now that I vented, I'll go and finish the last few chapters, hopefully he can redeem himself! I have my doubts! ~ Kim

Not as good as the first.

I was very excited about this book because I loved the first book in this series, Sweet Filthy Boy. Sadly this book just didn't measure up. Still an okay listen, especially since the narrators are some of the best.

dangerously close to alphahole territory

This audio is SO HARD to rate for a couple of reasons:

1. While Sebastian York's voice has this fantastic deep, baritone-y quality that is quite capable of turning your knees to goo, he also mails it in on the acting part of the job. He took a couple half-hearted stabs at Oliver's Aussie accent but Ansel apparently turned Americano overnight.

IT'S A MIRACLE!

Ohhh wait, no. Whatever the opposite of miracle is is what it is, BECAUSE ANSEL HAS A PANTY-MELTING FRENCH ACCENT.

Nobody hides Baby in the corner, is all I'm saying.

2) Finn... *hangs head* *sigh* epic dick move, bruh. I understand why he was upset. I do. I get it. AND I don't even think that his ire was misplaced but the way he handled it, especially after the night he and Harlow had and everything that had recently transpired between them?

No. Direct to the penalty box, Finn. Do not pass 'go'. Do not collect $200.

But the rest of the story was really entertaining which makes it difficult to decipher my feels.

Harlow and Finn have a lot of chemistry. Christina Lauren seem to be masters of developing this between their protagonists. IDK if they had more chemistry than Mia and Ansel, but still. Tingly feels were had.

Finn is ALLLLLLLLLLL-PHA! He's also kinky as hell and a big un. *pants* The thing Harlow said about him making everyone else look "snack sized"... yeah. *ALL THE BELLS ringing distantly in the background* They engage in bondage, spanking, biting and D/s so if you're not a fan of kink, exercise caution. I liked it because it was unfussy kink. It's clear Finn knows what he's doing and they don't jump off the deep end but build gradually to more intensity as their feelings for each other grow.

All of which was hot like burning as was the way he dotes on her after their scenes.

Overall, I liked both Harlow and Finn, thought they were pretty well developed and had some cute banter. I believed the evolution of them going from casual to friends to forever and was touched by the intensity of their feelings for each other. I felt like I went on the journey with them.

Were it not for Finn being a cowardly wanker I probably would be rating this higher. Even though Harlow's maturity in handling the conflict was a nice counterbalance to Finn's immaturity and I appreciated that the animosity and conflict didn't drag on and on, he was still an epic dickbag.

Still, I really like this series and catching up with this little makeshift family so I can't rate it less than 3.5 and I have no complaints about Shayna Thibodeaux. I'm starting to acclimate to her "punching" thing.

Recommend to fans of alpha romance with an opposites attract trope.

Perfect

Book 2 in the Wild Seasons series and, quite possibly my favourite to date. We meet Harlow and Finn in Sweet Filthy Boy after they got married in Vegas. They of course, got their marriage annulled and that was possibly it for their relationship, but no, they hook up once more, for what we think will be the end for them, until Finn visits his friends during a business trip, and, wham bam, here we go again. The chemistry between these two is off the charts, I really felt the intensity and the feelings that were written into the story. They are both dealing with some pretty traumatic events in their personal life, and both choose to deal with them by getting lost in each other. I love the honesty between Harlow and Finn, the way they don't hold back and just say what they are feeling, no games. Wonderful story, beautifully written as always. Perfect, Sebastian and Shayna nailed it, perfect duo.
