This was a spur of the moment purchase with little research, so I was thrilled to find it was well worth the credit. It was a fun, unexpected, and well narrated story. Took me a bit to tune into the female narrator but she did a great job, and Mr Morgan never disappoints. Grumpy boss v Sunshine, quirky employee, 'with benefits', it was a fun listen and I really enjoyed the banter and their inner monologue.

If unsure... you will not regret it. I LOVE this book. it is in my top 2 books of all. I go back to this book often with excitement, and I am not one to re-listen to books often. I can't understand why there are so few reviews. the narrators are amazing, and I will never get bored of listening to this story by these narrators.

I only gave the story a 4 star because as much as I loved the story the mlc was toxic in a lot of it. I love the character growth and loved the story. laughed so hard at a couple of moments due to the male narrator. But mlc's growth was a lot slower than flc's character to the point it was almost til the end of the book he grew up. That being said it wasn't a major issue and stil a great story

I enjoyed this book. Devoured it in just over a day. But if I’m honest I think I preferred the vicious book by this author a lot more

a few laugh out loud moments, a few 'oh wow' and 'oh no' moments all thrown into the perfect little listen.
Jacob Morgan is the best listen, he actually acts the words not just reads it. his female, male and heavily accented voices are awesome in this book. so talented. this was the first Grace Grant I've listened to, she has a very manly tone. but still a great narrator.
I will listen to this book again and again.

I have read a lot of L.J.Shen books and always enjoy them, some more than others. This was a good read and had lots going for it. 😃 Dirty headlines kept me reading/listening well into the early hours. It gets some great reviews and I agree although it is not to be one of my favourites.
