Where does Diet & Exercise Discipline for Weight Loss & Fitness Goals rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I feel so relaxed. I wake up energized and motivated. It's taken a few weeks of listening at least 4 times a week but I'm noticing an automatic change in my decisions. The first time I woke up to the blaring "THIS IS AUDIBLE". Audible needs to take those off meditative books. We know "THIS IS AUDIBLE" it's an app we intentionally opened ;)

LOVE It! -- NO CLUE what it's about tho!

To be clear -- if you've had a challenge with self-discipline for years but you think you're just gonna' listen to an audio for a couple of nights and be instantly "cured", then you're outta' you're friggin' mind. You don't need a self-development program -- you need a magician! But if you have a purposeful desire for lasting change AND if you're ready to REALLY get to work on yourself, THEN this audio is for you! I listen to as I fall asleep. So, I honestly have no clue what they say or do in this audio. All I know is after the first nite I listened to this, I woke up early the next morning w/o an alarm and immediately started cleaning up my kitchen! NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE-- LIKE EVER! As a pre-med student, self-discipline is EVERYTHING in my world. It's only been a few day and I ALREADY feel significantly less temptation to distractions. Since I started listening, I'm constantly re-evaluating the productivity of my activities. I've started to study much more AND more effectively out of GENUINE DESIRE to get it done and get it done well! -- Not out of obligation! My focus in class (and out) has notably improved as well. AND my cravings for sugar have decreased as well! That's HUGE for me inasmuch as I have a long standing sugar addiction that's cost me thousands of dollars in dental work. So if you're automatically ready for a self-development program that you're going to BACK UP with Deliberate and Purposeful ACTION, then this is the one for you.

seeing improved discipline in 1 wk

listening to it at night daily. seeing improvement in my desire to start and complete goal tasks i have set for myself.

Tip if you are annoyed with "This is Audible"

It's only been two nights. Too early to tell if I'm making better food choices. I did want to mention a couple things. The first night, every time it went from the music to her speaking, it startled me awake even though I had the volume very low. The second night I fell asleep before she got to the countdown and slept deeply. Maybe I had to get used to her voice? Anyway...I noticed a lot of reviews mentioning that the male voice at the end proclaiming "This is Audible" is jarring and wakes people up. This is true. However, there is a sleep timer option on all books that is customizable. I simply set the timer for 10 minutes less than the length of the book, and it shut itself off somewhere in the night. Hope it helps.

Very pleased

Annas voice is absolutly perfect for great nlp. other nlp audiobooks i have do not blend or control voice volume as well. her induction is smooth natural and perfectly relaxing.
the results have been great as i am a bit stubborn, long term sugestions require habitual dedication to take to, so i need to continually listen. it is a long session so make sure you have time. i do wake up relaxed and many of the suggestions are profoundly effective. ill be buying more of her programs for sure.

Relaxing, but not the affirmations I need

Relaxing and soothing. I'm not crazy about the visualization of being on a sailing ship, but Anna's voice and the opening chapters definitely help relaxation. The affirmations dont speak to what I personally need. "I am happy and trim", "I crave fresh air and movement", those types of affirmations dont speak to my needs. The production quality is very good, I think this is definitely better than other titles I've tried

Annoying voice

The narrator was annoying to listen to. I Returned. The rest was average. But the voice sounds like they are annoyed

Great BUT...

One of the best out there, great voice, production, performance, but how do you stop the final chapter from jolting you awake at the end? There you are one moment, happily hypnotised. Then all of a sudden some random bloke is telling you what the book you just finished was. We know! And it is actually quite a scary way to come out of hypnosis, a man's voice speaking in your ear. I'm still going to use it, but that one twenty second jolt at the end spoils an otherwise excellent product.

Would have got 5 stars in all but...

I understand why chapter 8 has been put at the end of this, but seriously what's the point of having this sleep programme book to help you with deep sleep, if they're going to put in chapter 8 the whole 1.08 minute of a guy telling you who the book is by isn't worth it, firstly it wakes you up, but if you do get into a deep sleep, which it does for me, the last chapter makes you jump out of your skin, it's like an alarm clock. Please I do hope some one from audible HQ reads this review and then puts in an idea that you sleep mode timer thingy you put in end on a certain chapter so you can skip it out, or chapter 8 is removed or put at the beginning or is optional. I really like these books but that's an off put to ever buy any

Keeping me focussed

It seems to be helping to keep my discipline and focus during the day... to stick to my meal plan and excercise regime without feeling negatively about it. That's great!
