Die kleine Prinzessin lebt mit den Monsters, mit Mama Monster und Papa Monster und ihren sieben Monster-Geschwistern. Da geht es ganz monstermäßig zu. Es wird geschmatzt, gekleckert, gerülpst, geschubst, gestoßen, gerauft und gepetzt. Das ist für die kleine Prinzessin gar nicht so einfach, denn sie hat so überhaupt gar keine Monster-Manieren. Im Gegenteil: Sie ist still und ruhig und ordentlich. In der wilden Monster-Horde muss sie sich deshalb so einiges gefallen lassen. Doch damit ist eines Tages Schluss: Die kleine Prinzessin fängt an, sich zu wehren. Sie zeigt, dass auch sie sehr wohl monstermäßige Manieren drauf hat, wenn es sein muss.
