Dort findet sie nicht nur eine Leiche, sondern gleich zwei. Auch wenn die beiden Todesfälle durch ein ganzes Jahrhundert getrennt sind, haben die Opfer mehr gemeinsam, als Meg ahnt. Ohne Lauries Hilfe, der beruflich nach Japan ziehen musste, versucht Meg mit ihrer Geisterfreundin Ripley die Fälle zu lösen.
