Briljante voorlesing

Die hoofkarakter, Ella, in hierdie verhaal is hoogs irriterend. Ongelukkig om die miskenning van vroue in die polisiemag te ontbloot, het die skrywer ironies die karakter in die cliché van ‘irrationeel en emsioneel’ geskryf. Die boek het ook ‘n gebrek aan ‘n sterk spanningslyn en baie van die storielyne word nie opgelos of ontwikkel nie - dit word net gebruik om die leser te verwar. Susanne Beyers is briljant!
