Er möchte den Kindern die Weihnachtsgeschichte erzählen, aber leider ist er sehr vergesslich. Glücklicherweise kennt das Eselchen Maria und Josef höchstpersönlich, denn es hat die schwangere Maria nach Bethlehem getragen. Allerdings sieht er manches ein bisschen anders. Mit seiner Hilfe kommt beim Engel die Erinnerung wieder. So erzählen die beiden vom großen Wunder und singen mit uns zusammen fröhlich zur Geburt Christi.
