Doro Kagles Jugendfreund Jan-Arne wurde auf Fehmarn ermordet. Kurz bevor er starb, flüsterte er ihren Namen. In Doro werden Erinnerung an ihren letzten Besuch wach - an den jungen Vagabunden Bolenda, dessen Leiche sie und ihre Clique damals am Weiher fanden. Und an das "Geheimnisspiel", das sie und ihre Freunde spielten. Jeder hatte anonym ein Geheimnis auf einen Zettel geschrieben. Auf einem stand: Ich weiß, wer den Bolenda getötet hat. Es stellt sich heraus, dass Jan-Arne den ungeklärten Fall des Bolenda aufgerollt hat, den Doro nun gewissermaßen erbt. Schnell gerät auch sie in Gefahr.
