Krieg zieht auf. Die Elben im Norden und der mächtige Autarch im Süden rüsten ihre Heere für den Einmarsch in die Südmarkfeste. Noch ahnen die königlichen Zwillinge Barrick und Briony, die dort regieren, nichts von den Kämpfen - und auch nichts von dem Kind, das mit dem Schicksal des Reichs verbunden ist... Wer von der Kult-Serie "Otherland" nicht genug bekommen konnte, wird sich enorm über das neue Fantasy-Epos von Tad Williams freuen - zumal der erste Teil von David Nathans Stimme getragen wird.
