Grace, die vermißte Tochter, ist Schauspielerin. Seit zwei Wochen hat niemand sie gesehen. Im Dickicht des Londoner Nebels sucht Odell ihren Agenten auf, einen zwielichtigen Geschäftsmann. Doch weder er, noch ihre beste Freundin Ella wissen etwas über ihren Verbleib. Dann findet Odell Ella mit zerschnittenem Gesicht vor seiner Haustür. Eine Warnung? Wovor? Und vor allem, von wem? Odell ist ratlos, doch wie immer hat seine scharfsinnige Geliebte Heather bei einem Glas in der Mondscheinbar eine rettende Idee.
