Summary
Dresden, Mai 1883. Eine Eilmeldung stört jäh die sonnige Frühjahrsstimmung: Aus dem Zoologischen Garten ist ein Tiger entkommen. Panik bricht aus, und die Polizei, auch Kriminalrat Gustav Heller, ist angehalten, die Bevölkerung zu beruhigen. Zwei Tage später kommt die nächste Schreckensnachricht – ganz in der Nähe des Zoos wird ein Toter gefunden. Das Opfer, ein junger Mann aus reichem Haus, wurde bestialisch ermordet. Als weitere Morde folgen, scheint sicher: Ein Serienmörder geht um, der die Kinder gut situierter Dresdner Bürger im Visier hat. Gustav Heller steht vor seiner größten Herausforderung!
