Prof. Dr. Michael Stahl hatte bis 2011 den Lehrstuhl für Alte Geschichte an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Sein Lehrbuch "Gesellschaft und Staat bei den Griechen" erschien 2003 in zwei Bänden, 2008 präsentierte er "Botschaften des Schönen", Bilder aus der antiken Kultur.
