Im Weihnachtsdorf herrscht geschäftiges Treiben: Alle Wichtel, Zwerge, Elfen und Engel sind fleißig dabei, das Weihnachtsfest vorzubereiten. Auch der kleine Engel Bente darf dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal mithelfen. Er träumt schon lange davon, im Engelschor zu singen, und so fällt er aus allen Wolken, als er stattdessen in die Bäckerei geschickt wird. Dort ist es sicher ganz nett, und es duftet immer himmlisch. Aber Bente möchte doch singen! Da hat sein bester Freund, der freche Schneehase Samson, eine Idee. Wenn Bente sich schön doof anstellt, ist er den Job bestimmt schnell wieder los. Also spielt der kleine Engel so manchen plätzchensüßen Streich - wenn das mal keinen Ärger vom Weihnachtsmann gibt...
