Alle Jahre wieder kehrt der kleine Lord auf unsere Bildschirme zurück und erwärmt die Herzen der Zuschauer. Nun ist Cedric Errol erwachsen geworden und lässt den Hörer daran teilhaben, was aus dem Film Happy End geworden ist: Nach nur kurzer Zeit als Lord Fauntleroy wurden der Junge und seine Mutter erneut betrogen - doch dieses Mal wurde die Hinterlist nicht entlarvt. Und so taucht Ceddie Errol 21 Jahre später am Heiligen Abend in einer Polizeistation auf, um sich selbst des Mordes zu bezichtigen...
