Der böse Geistliche ist eine Kurzgeschichte von H. P. Lovecraft, die erstmals 1939 veröffentlicht worden ist. In ihrem Mittelpunkt steht ein bösartig aussehender Geistlicher, der auf einem Dachboden in einem englischen Dorf wohnte.
Ein Mann führt den Erzähler auf den Dachboden eines Hauses in einem englischen Dorf und deutet dabei vage an, dass hier einst jemand Grässliches gelebt haben soll. Auf einem Tisch liegt ein kleiner Gegenstand, der jener Person gehört haben soll, und der Mann warnt den Erzähler eindringlich, diesen nicht anzurühren und sich nicht nach Anbruch der Dunkelheit hier aufzuhalten. Dann verlässt er ihn.
