Die abgedruckten Versuche des Volksstückeschreibers ("...nur möglich durch eine sensationelle radiotechnische Erfindung, die es uns ermöglicht, jeden Menschen, wo wir nur wollen, zu belauschen - und zwar, ohne dass dieser Mensch auch nur den leisesten Verdacht verspüren könnte, dass er belauscht wird") datieren aus den Jahren 1929/30. Zusammen mit der "Stunde der Liebe", sieben Szenen für Rundfunk, gelangt dieses Fragment eines Hörspiels zur Ursendung.
