Endlich Sommerferien – eigentlich die schönste Zeit des Jahres für die dreizehnjährige Sofija. Aber in diesem Jahr ist alles anders. Statt mit ihren Freundinnen in Belgrad abzuhängen, muss sie mit ihrer Oma auf die kroatische Insel Hvar zu Omas Schwester Lucija fahren. Für die beiden Frauen ist es das erste glückliche Wiedersehen seit dem Zerfall Jugoslawiens in den 1990er Jahren. Für Sofija hingegen ist es ein absoluter Teenager-Albtraum: Um sie herum nur alte Leute, Mücken ohne Ende, keine Freunde. Wie soll sie es hier bloß zwei Wochen aushalten?
