Als dann noch akute Geldnot bei den Dumanskis Einzug hält, hat die begeisterte Hobby-Gärtnerin Esther die Idee, Landurlaub gepaart mit Gartenkursen anzubieten - als Schnupperkurse für neugierige Städter und Stressabbau für überbeanspruchte Büromenschen. Der Plan scheint aufzugehen: Schon bald tritt die erste Gruppe Garten-Fans ihren Urlaub bei Esther an. Leider dauert es nicht lange, bis die Naturerholung erheblich gestört wird, denn die Truppe findet eine Leiche im Wald. Ist der Mörder etwa einer von ihnen?
