Vor ihnen zieht sich zur gleichen Zeit ein schweres Unwetter zusammen. Da die Schiffe schnell näher kommen, beschließt man, mitten in das Unwetter hineinzufahren. Sie können dadurch zwar den Kriegsschiffen entkommen, aber ihr eigenes Schiff kentert im Sturm.
