Die Kripo verhängt umgehend eine Nachrichtensperre und verurteilt den Sender zum Schweigen. Radioreporterin Heike Göbel will dennoch den Verzicht auf diese Sensation nicht einfach so hinnehmen. Anlässlich einer Reihe von mysteriösen Zwischenfällen im Bahnhof von Wuppertal beginnt sie, auf eigene Faust zu ermitteln und gerät dabei in tödliche Gefahr.
