About this listen

Idaho! The compound! They had finally made it!

After several months of harrowing, fraught with danger around every corner, never knowing what was going to come at them, they could finally rest and relax. Or could they?

Some things are just not meant to be in a post-apocalyptic world, and Nathan and his newly adopted family realize there is no rest and relaxation anymore.

Join Nathan and his Posse, Lil' Posse and members of the compound as they realize they are in even more danger now than anyone, save Nathan, already knew. Dark Titan: War Zone: Homefront picks up where Dark Titan Journey: Finally Home left off.

The author, apparently, deleted this book twice only to seek the assistance of another writer as he was having a difficult time getting the characters right after a bit of an absence. To be honest, I wish he would have deleted this version and just trusted his gut. None of the characters were ‘right’ and changing narrators only made it worse.

Too many ‘you should have been there’ stories between the main character with his reunited friends.

Overall, wordy with violence (the dog training segment) that added nothing to the story.

I hope the author ditches the co-writer and returns with the previous narrator. Even though this is disappointing, I would like to end this series on a position note. I hope there is more.

I have listened to other books in series and they were pretty good, but this book had a lot of wasted dialogue that seemed to be filling the pages, not a lot of action or real support for the story up to this point.
I was waiting for the story to begin all the way through this book. Disappointing

ending strange
