My second read of this book, after reading some pretty average books lately, had to reread a favourite. Plus I've just ordered the second book, because it just came out in paperback, can't wait to read and listen to the next book.

One of my favourites

This was a very addictive book. Enjoying it thoroughly and will be straight onto the sequel.

Great book

It was refreshing diving back into the world of The Remnant Chronicles, with new characters and more world bulling. It had a very strong start, introducing all new characters and the main protagonists Kaz and Jace. It started to slow down in the middle of the book, getting repetitive and the story not moving anywhere; focusing on things that were irrelevant. As you're reading you know how the story will end and not having that shock factor was disappointing as there was no big bang at the end of the book, which is what I was hoping for. Though there was a nice surprise at the end for anyone who has read The Remnant Chronicles before. Even though there was some action it's more of a political story with a bit of romance and bad ass characters. I would have liked more action but there is definitely a buildup I can see coming. Performance was spot on; voice actors were amazing!
