Interesting new harem story

The basic premise is great, who doesn't like getting kidnapped to another world in order to gain magical powers and fight a war?

The world building is great, the characterization for the different harem members all feel unique and interesting and Erin does a fantastic job with the female narration parts.

The one thing I say is that the book is a little too fast-paced at the beginning, the narrator needs to add like 1 to 2 seconds between sentences for the first couple chapters because you have to many facts coming at you to quickly.

other than some minor things it's a great story and I can't wait to listen to the next one.

story is ok but too fast

I like the idea for the story a army guy get transported to a new world full of sexy girls but chapter one and chapter 2 just went by too fast. it was just too much she so beautiful that it don't make sense in terms of realness. he accepted the rules of this world too fast. we don't even know where his uniform is or his weapon. I'm ex military and the first thing I'm looking for is my M4 and uniform.it's almost as if the writer would just rushing the first part of the story to jump into the fantasy world and when you write a story about this kind of genre you need to pace it in a slow way so the reader can make sense of your world. the female voice was the same no matter who it was and it sounded like she recorded the audio on her PC and then emailed the file to the audio team.

this was a fun romp.

this was fun, the first chapter or so was a bit strained, but it smoothed out quickly enough.

one of the issues I had was with the defense of the village, WHY do people keep grabbing at SWORDS FOR EVERYBODY! when SPEARS AND POLEARMS! are by far the best weapon, especially when fighting a defense battle in a reinforced location against larger foes with LIMITED TRAINING TIME! GAAH!

swords are great and all, but there is a reason spears ruled the battle field straight up until Crossbows and Gunpowder (and even then still had a place.)

the only minor gripe was several times the voice actor repeated a word or coughed off mike and kept it in the recording, not enough to be an issue but it was noticeable.

all things considered, I liked this a lot.

Terrible book

All the women in this book reminds me of a bot that would randomly text you. And no matter what the MC says it seems missed placed. The person doing the voice acting doesn’t help either. She’s OK but she emphasize everything she says. It’s like she’s trying to sing while she’s reading and she highlights every sentence. Also the MC is terrible he just goes along with everything. all in all this book feels like it was written by a 13-year-old.

Ddduuuuhhhhj?

Mc is negative IQ. Starts dumb & gets dumber as book goes on, couldn't take any more after the orc fight, he created a magic sword once, and didn't think to do it again??? That was the last straw for me . Don't waste your money

Fun, Light, Worthwhile Fantasy

I decided one day something totally different sounded nice. Not a long epic fantasy, or non fiction. Something light, even trashy.

I made an assumption by the cover, said screw it, and picked this one on a whim.

It is not trashy at all in my opinion. It does have sexual content but the great performances help make it sweet instead of cringe. The bouncing bikini elf bodies come across with humor rather than sleeze. It reminds me of humor in anime such as High School of the Dead. Which I’ve always enjoyed that sense of humor, and think is what I was looking for in a fantasy audio novel but couldn’t put my finger on before listening.

This book made me realize a new genre I enjoy. I since have started a few others, by other authors and they aren’t quite as charming. So I need to dig deeper or got very lucky

Very much worth the credit. Story, performance, charm.

Quite enjoyable, but quality could be better

Story-wise, this was really well done. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and will be looking forward to book 2.

Performance-wise, it could have been much better. There were at least 2 repeating lines I noticed. Also, while wearing headphones I noticed that the female narrator did not have the same sound quality as her counter part

Curious to see where this leads

A rather typical isekai. The premise and story itself are fairly well portrayed. My biggest complaint is how readily the MC adjusts and dives into his new predicament with little to no refusal. While I don’t have any issue with the narration on the whole, I wasn’t wowed by it either.

Duet! Awesome

This was an easy listen. Had trip to Miami and put it on. The road practically disapeared. Lasted the whole drive too. Had to finish in my hotel.
4.6/5 would buy again

MC is kinda slow and annoying

The book is almost written to be read by someone inebriated or half asleep, and the most logical conclusions go right over the MC's head which will annoy most to a degree where you can't really continue to listen. The female narrator needs a new mic, since hers has a weird artifact/noise in it that ruins most of her voice acting.
