The book is glorious, and lives up to everything it promised and I hoped for. One thing that I was over the moon with, is how all the various unresolved threads of the characters and their relationship with Parker from the previous books are intricately woven into this story.

The narration was the best it’s ever been.

Okay if you read my review of the preceding book you know I’ve became very invested in these characters. So much so that as the story came to its end I may have shed a few tears over the two main characters’ rocky romance and desperate situation battle wise. Yes the story did tie everything up. Yes you have to love characters who actually die for what they believe in. Yes I did say life and death were very malleable states in a review of one of the earlier books. Did they stay dead? Read the series and you’ll find out. Bet you will fall in love with not-a-cat, too.
