About this listen
We wanted to create this book to educate children all over about how large of a role the African American community played throughout history. This book only captures a small portion from such an enormous list but is unique because it highlights names that we are all familiar with, while also capturing several examples that we know little to nothing about with hopes to spark an interest from the listeners to take a deeper dive into the richness found in African American history. We believe that more education is needed on topics such as this and hope that with more education we can all experience a brighter future.
