I love these books. Penny tries so hard to be worldly but she isn’t, nevertheless she’s determined and intelligent. Please, for the love of heaven, let her romantic life go the way I hope it will!

I really hope that most women are not as gullible as Penny Green. It is really odd that this author should write her in this way. She keeps hanging on to the hope that this cad will give up his fiancee to come running to her. And in the meantime, while refusing to give up his fiancee, he is jealous of anyone she appears to take an interest in
