Publisher's Summary

The Culture of Honor is a book of reformation. It is intended to disrupt our current model of authority. Jesus put it like this in Matthew 20:25-26: "But Jesus called them to Himself and said, You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. Those with power must learn to empower those around them or we will never build Heaven on the Earth."

Incredible resource for any church leader member

I loved this book, it opened my mind to understanding the true meaning of Honour and what it looks like to lead others with a culture of Honour in place. The book is full of real life examples for handling the most challenging sin's/actions or disappointments that leaders face with their church members.

The second half encourages a mindset shift and how to embrace effective strategies to reach our city and community through biblical principles whilst honouring differences within people and groups. This is a resource you'll refer back to over the years as an encouragement for self improvement and an educational tool for church groups.

Unexpectedly good

Danny Silk's teaching on honour WILL impact you. At risk of sounding cliche, this isn't just another book on fostering a culture of honour. Listen and be genuinely encouraged in your pursuit of Christlike honour and heavenly-love-inspired demonstrative pastoral kickassery.
