About this listen

Crystal Hansen had been a dreamer all of her life. She grew up watching the clouds drift by and dreaming of what her life could be like in the future. Like many children, she was unaware of the serious issues her parents were facing until she overheard them arguing one evening.

Someone was attempting to throw them off their property and close down their business. She and her brother were the fourth generation to live and work at the combination hardware store and lumber yard, which was located a couple of miles outside of the city limits.

Or it used to be. The city was annexing land right up to their property line. It sounded like it could all be gone in a flash. When her father, Charlie, refused to sell out, the city began the process to obtain the land by eminent domain. And to top it off, the shady investors were threatening the Hansen family and everyone else involved, including the judge.

Charlie found a group of lawyers to help fight for their property. Keeping their acreage intact was of utmost importance. With the Hansen family life hanging in the balance, Crystal’s dreams took a sharp turn, and they finally became crystal clear.
